Julie L. Woods has always preferred to focus on those subjects that she feels passionate about or understands.
Each and every one of the different subjects she has worked on and photographed over the years has helped to shape her life and career in a personal and unique way.
Born and raised in Colorado, Julie started drawing animals at a young age. She is a self-taught artist to which her family has told her “its a God given talent.”
Julie has entered and displayed her art in many National , International and local juried art shows, winning numerous awards.

Passion for Art and Photography
Julie does a lot of outdoor photography and photographs her subjects that she draws. Photography is also her passion, and for her the two go hand in hand.
Giving back to her community by volunteering as a firefighter is important to Julie L. Woods. She serves on the Rattlesnake Fire & Rescue Protection District in Elizabeth Colorado.
Her photography and art have been on the covers of the Oklahoma Thoroughbred association magazine as well as posted on Firelink , “Firefighter Inspired Art.” She is also the official photographer for Rattlesnake Fire & Rescue Protection District, Julie truly loves to share her work with others.
